What is a cookie? A cookie a small script that is installed on a website that keeps a record of users and activities of that user - So when you login to a website that you've subscribed to, it remembers the user and may display a welcome message to that user. Cookies also store referral data - This data is the bread and butter of affiliate commissions.
The problem with cookies is it can easily be erased or replaced with another cookie - So what does that mean for the affiliate that's worked so hard to present the great content that brings in the sales? They lose BIG...
OK, some issues just simply can not be resolved and rarely if and when it does happen, a small fortune can easily be lost forever! That's just the luck of marketing as an affiliate marketer - But don't worry, that's just a very small percentage. The larger percentage of losses can easily be addressed by the individual affiliate, by installing cloaking software. Cloaking software will cloak your affiliate links securely, keeping your link from prying eyes that want to disseminate your business! OK, that may be a little bit harsh, but more to the point, affiliate commissions are stolen simply because of GREED. Lets face it, billions of dollars pass through the net as affiliate commissions, that presents RISKS... A lot of them!
You've probably heard of stealware software? This program is really bad, I say this because I was affected by it BIG time! My usual income of about $2000 per week from one of my sites, went down to ZERO.
At first, I thought it was just the norm of marketing online as an affiliate - You know; how sometimes sales impressions are higher than the norm but no sales are made? But that's understandable and if you have enough websites, then it shouldn't be much of a problem... But... When it carries on for longer than usual and starts spreading like a disease to your other websites, then that's when the FLAGS go up like a Hot air balloon that's lost its carriage!
After researching the issue, I found that this problem was rampant - I also realized that the other issues that can't be fixed, only makes for a very small percentage. So after a process of elimination, I was confident enough to safely assume that, that was not a problem; but the losses were simply too big to just ignore and after delving further, that's when I learned about scum-ware or commonly known as parasitic software.
There is plenty of information on the net about this issue, which you can learn further by searching the terms, but for simplicity of this web page, we won't go further into the explanation of this problem... But fixing it is another issue and that's what we'll strive to teach you...
Steal-ware programs are installed on users computers without them knowing it and is usually installed from sites offering free stuff. Now, when that user arrives at, your site for example, they may purchase the product on offer. The steal-ware doesn't do anything, until that user, that's infected with steal-ware, enters the checkout page - That's when the steal-ware erases your affiliate cookie and then replaces it with its own. So when the user buys the product, you don't get credited for the sale.
Well, after installing this program to my server and setting up my links easily, I waited... Then within the following week, my sales returned, but the bonuses; well, it was well above normal!
I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I'm making millions, but not having my commissions stolen like they did, is a monument to my successes based on my failures!
This program that puts the pay into the rightful hands of the hard working honest affiliate is, affiliate bomber. Setting up is easy and once setup, creating links can be done in as little as less than a minute, well at least that's how long it takes me.

I've used simple url redirects, server side redirects using the .htaccess perimeters... But ALB still does the best job.

This program is the best affiliate marketing tool I've seen and used - Full instructions on installation is easy, and after installation; adding campaigns is quick and easy - An increase in your commissions is the pay off, but educating your visitors and especially your subscribers as a business objective, pays dividends!
Usually, when buying some software online, you are bombarded by emails that are sometimes useless - The creator of this program (Ben Shaffer), gives you the occasional email; but it's full of value and not abused! He really knows what he's talking about.
